Store Shipping

Manage how shipping is calculated. From the store builder navigate to Shipping. Shipping can be calculated dynamically or based on a flat rate. Shipping is calculated based on the following priority.

Shipping Calculation Priority

The following priority is used when calculating shipping on an item. If we don’t find data required we will move on to the next shipping calculation.

1. Store Flat Rate Shipping for decorated, blank or samples.

2. Shipping base on order total

3. Store Shipping Rates based on sum of product part weights grouped by FOB ID.

4. Part shipping packages with a cost.

5. Part shipping packages without a cost. Dynamic shipping rate based on part shipping packages.

6. Part dimensions with dynamic shipping rates based on shipping box sizes and grouped by FOB ID.

7. Category shipping packages with Dynamic shipping rate based on category shipping packages.

Shipping Options

Require shipping address

Require users to enter a shipping address before checking out.

Calculate Shipping

Enable shipping to be calculated and applied before checking out. Will force user to enter a shipping address by default

Don’t require shipping amount

Enable shipping to be calculated and applied before checking out. Will force user to enter a shipping address by default

Force calc shipping even if product price = 0

Force calc shipping even if product price = 0

Allow Customer To Select Shipping Service

If checked, Allow user to choose different shipping options associated with the store default shipping

Only use part dimensions for shipping

If checked part shipping packages will be ignored and part dimensions will be used to calculate shipping.

Use Order Shipments

Create shipments on the order level instead of the purchase order level. Useful for stores where multiple items will ship from the same locations and can be grouped by FOB point.

Flat Rate Shipping

If a flat rate shipping fee is entered it will take priority over dynamic shipping.

Decorated

1. Applies a flat fee to each decorated/configured product.

Blank

1. Applies a fat fee to each blank item.

Sample

1. Applies a flat fee to each sample item.

Store Shipping Rates

Some stores require that shipping be calculated by weight only. Shipping rates allow you to create shipping rates based on weight and service.

1. From the Store Builder > Shipping select Shipping Rates.

2. Select Add new shipping rate.

3. Enter a Weight.

4. Select your shipping Services.

5. Enter a Cost for each service.

Dynamic Shipping

Dynamic shipping will calculate shipping based on the following priority using the shipping provider and methods that are configured. Dynamic shipping is calculated based on the following priority.

1. A product parts Shipping Packages.

2. Category Shipping Packages.

3. Store Shipping Box Sizes based on products part Dimensions. Boxes are selected based on the total product part dimensions for all products shipping from the same location.

Add Shipping Providers

1. From the Store Builder > Shipping section select Add Provider.

2. Select your provider and fill in the required fields. See Shipping Providers for more instructions on connecting with your shipping provider.

3. Select Service codes that you would like to use when calculating shipping. If no codes are selected we will select the cheapest shipping method and carrier by default.

4. Enter a Margin.

5. Select Save.

Shipping Rates (Weight Based)

Upload or enter a list of weight based shipping rates which will be used to calculate shipping. This is useful for stores where product dimensions may not be available but product weights are. Typically with soft goods.

1. In the Shipping Rates section of the store shipping select Add new shipping rate.

2. Enter a Weight

3. Select a Shipping Service and select Add Service.

4. Enter a Cost.

5. Repeat step 3 for each shipping service you would like to offer at the same weight.

6. Select Save.

7. Repeat from step 1 for each weight.

Alternatively you can import a list of shipping rates by selecting Import shipping rates.

Shipping Box Sizes

Add boxes which will be used to ship products. Boxes will only be used on products that don’t have product part shipping packages. See dynamic shipping priority above for more information on how we calculate shipping based on priority.

1. Select the Shipping Box Sizes.

2. Select Add new size.

3. Enter a Length, Width and Height as well as Max weight and set the box to active.

4. Select Save.

Shipping Addresses

Add or import a list of shipping address which will be displayed during checkout. You can allow select a shipping address or enter a manual address during checkout. This can also be links to customer roles so only specific customers can manually enter an address.
