SendGrid Custom Integration

Create SendGrid Account

1. Navigate to https://sendgrid.com/

2. Create an account.

3. Enter billing information.

4. Authenticate Senders. This is required to allow send grid to send form your domain or other validated emails.

5. Upgrade Marketing and Email API Plans so features like dedicated IP and larger quantities of email sends are enabled.

   1. Select Email API Essentials 50k.

   2. Select Marketing Campaign Advanced 10k unless you will have more then 10k contacts to send batch marketing emails. OPTIONAL

6. Set up dedicated IP. Optional but recommended. Sending from your own dedicated IP helps protect your sender reputation. Other distributors have noted that this prevents emails from being marked as spam.

Create SendGrid API Key

1. Navigate to https://app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys

2. Select Create API Key.

3. Enter an API Key Name. For example “MPower Promo”.

4. Select Full Access for the API Key Permissions.

5. Select Create & View.

6. Copy and save the generated API Key.

Connect SendGrid to MPower

1. Navigate to My Distributor then Integrations then Available integrations.

2. Select Connect for SendGrid.

3. Paste in your SendGrid API Key REQUIRED

4. Select Next

Enabling SSL

Some users have reported issues receiving an SSL warning. The cause of the issue are the branded tracking links SendGrid generates not being secure. To enable SSL for click tracking links to resolve the issue please contact us.
