Duplicating Products

The easiest way to duplicate a product is to find a PromoStandards product and duplicating it. By doing so we will be able to utilize the suppliers product data when configuring the product instead of manually entering it.

1. Navigate to the store that you would like to enter a decoration product for.

2. From the Store Builder menu select Products.

3. Select filters to show all products.

   1. With Categories select No and Yes.

   2. Source select PromoStandards. This ensures only products which are synced with supplier via PromoStandards will be returned.

   3. Use additional filters and search to find your product.

4. Select the Menu Button ⋮ on the product you want to duplicate.

5. Select Duplicate.

6. Select what data you would like to duplicate. PLEASE NOTE Only select these options if you plan on duplicating all options from the supplier. Typically its better to only add specific parts, locations, decorations and charges individually after the product is duplicated.

   1. Parts

   2. Locations

   3. Decorations

   4. Charges

   5. Media.

   6. Restrictions

7. Customize any product data on the General Tab. See Custom Products for additional explanations of fields.

   1. Product ID DON'T CHANGE . We don’t recommend modifying this field to avoid any confusion with suppliers when submitting purchase orders.

   2. Categories REQUIRED. Select at least one category. If you have not created any categories you will need to do so. See Categories (Store) for more information on how to create and manage categories.

8. Set Status to active.

9. Select Save.
