Managing Products
This article discuss how to manually add products to your store. By default Distributor Stores come with the full catalog of PromoStandards products. Both Distributor Stores and Company Stores can have manual products added to them.
Creating Products
There are a few ways to create products.
We recommend creating products by duplicating an existing product in MPower. Typically a PromoStandards item. The benefit of duplicating from a PromoStandards item is that data like pricing and inventory can be synced with the suppliers original PromoStandards item.
Finding Products
Select the store you would like to add products to and navigate to Products. You can use the various filters to find the product you are looking for. By default only products which have a category associated with them are shown. You must clear this filter if looking for products that are not assigned to a category associated with the store.
Duplicating Products
We offer the ability to duplicate products. This is helpful if you are creating a product for a store that is offered by a supplier and exists in MPower. When duplicating a product MPower will sync both products which can then have inventory or pricing synced. This allows you to create many stores with many products and have them all use the suppliers current pricing and inventory. See Syncing Products below for more information.
Remove Products
Remove or exclude products from being displayed on your store.
Option 1: Update product status
Navigate to the store builder > products list
Set the status of the product you would like to remove from your store to Not Active
Option 2: Excluded Product
Navigate to the store builder > products list
Option 1: Select the

button and select Exclude ProductOption 2: To bulk exclude products you can select the checkbox for each product then select Exclude
ProductsOption 3: Select the Exclude tab and select Add product
You can view your excluded products under the Exclude tab.
Syncing Products
MPower offers the ability to Sync inventory and pricing between products. Typically this is useful if you are duplicating products from suppliers for your own store and need to modify image, descriptions etc… but want to sync inventory or any price changes on the suppliers original product.
From the product edit screen select the Syncing tab.
From here you can remove, change or add a synced product.
Select if you want to sync pricing and or inventory or neither.
